this song is really good and obviously jason derulo DID NOT steal from imogen heap, this would be a big lawsuit if it was true. other people have taken exerts that are memorably [for example 'dont stop the music' by rihanna-- 'mama say mama sa ma maposa..' (michael jackson)] and they are put into the song to make it more catchy.
plus, he didnt ‘ruin’ the song as he didnt copy the whole thing….
