Customer Review: Great guitar
This is a great guitar that has brought me 2 years of joy. The only reason i’m selling it is because i recently bought a talyor 314 and i dont play it anymore. I’ve always taken very good care of it and it has been kept in a humidity controlled room for most of her life when she wasn’t in a case. There are no scratches or blemishes of any kind other than slight pick marks on the pick guard. Great sound, with good playability. It also comes with a case and a set of elixur nano light strings that make her sound great.

This guitar was my first (I now own 4) and it’s still my absolute favorite. It’s tone is incredible and the action on it feels so natural. Definitely a guitar worth more than it costs. This guitar will not let you down.

The guitar is wonderful. The page I purchased it on had an image of a case. I took it for granted it was included but it is not. I have written the seller asking them to remove the image of the case.

Customer Review: Do not buy this item
I have ordered this item through Amazon and felt that I was getting a great deal since it is sold elsewhere for much for…well as it appears to be there is no good deal!!! It is a rip off! Amazon has actually processed my order but the Musucian’s Friend (MF) refuses to ship it at $199 advertised here; MF will happily sell it to me at $299 – the price that is posted on their own website and assume no responsibility for the price that Amazon has advertised. I have spoken to the Musician’s Friend customer support and though the people seem nice they have no desire in resolving this issue and granting me the price at which I was purchasing this guitar. I will be trying Amazon’s customer support and see if I get anywhere there. I expect Amazon to honor the deal. I will update the post later. For right now stay away from this item and Musician’s Friend store in general…who knows what other prices are erroneous…oh and by the way the Musician’s Friend has not contacted me to let me know that there is a problem with the item…I have found out through the shipment confirmation …so now I have a bunch of guitar accessories for the guitar coming my way but NO guitar.

Customer Review: bang for the buck
These D100’s are great guitars. There are a lot bigger names out there (of course those glue smelling fender/Yamaha cheaper proves that names mean nothing) but Wash is always a better sound. This guitar is not the perfect guitar. It’s not a Taylor nor does it want to be (and it isn’t $3,000 like one either). This is just a great beginner play. And… it makes a good bass driven blues guitar to boot.

I love Washburn guitars! I own a Washburn Dreadnought and a D100 Acoustic Guitar, which I had sent to me in Afghanistan.

It proved to be a tremendous guitar for the value and arrived in only nine days undamaged. The guitar weathered extremely heat and dusty conditions with me for six months, all the time bringing my friends and I tremendous joy. I brought it home with me but have since sent it out to my son in Iraq, where it is currently doing its duty.
